In March, Trevor Petersen, BM 2022, won a section cello position with the Sioux City Symphony. Trevor is a student of Gregory Clinton and performs with the Lincoln Symphony, the Omaha Symphony, and freelances throughout the greater Omaha metro.  In January, he was invited to be a Lab Orchestra Fellow at the Conducting Institute in Fort Worth, TX. He is principal cellist of UNO’s Heartland Philharmonic Orchestra and UNO’s Chamber Orchestra.  He is also a member of UNO’s scholarship string quartet. Trevor will graduate this May and looks forward to many more orchestral and ensemble performing experiences.
