UNO Piano Performance major Seulji Kim performed Robert Schumann’s Abegg Variations, op. 1, at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York City on December 22, 2019. She was awarded the opportunity for this performance as a second-place winner of the American Protégé International Music Talent Competition in the Spring of 2019. The American Protégé International Music Talent Competition is open to all instrumentalists (piano, winds, strings, brass, traditional, etc.), vocalists, and traditional folk and jazz groups of all nationalities and countries. Seulji is a student of Dr. Kristín Jónína Taylor, UNO Assistant Professor of Piano and Keyboard Area Coordinator.
