The UNO Flute Studio was competitively selected to perform at the 2019 Chicago Flute Festival, held at the Fourth Presbyterian Church on Saturday, November 9, 2019. Michalea Blaney, Chris Boese, Sofia Cormack, Hannah Haefele, Mary Kean, Lydia Kirkland, Paige Michaud, Paúl Loja Prado, Dakota Valle traveled to Chicago where they participated in pedagogical sessions, attended flute recitals, and performed a program of contemporary music for flute ensemble by Derek Charke, Ian Clarke and Nicole Chamberlain.
