UNO Professor of Flute, Dr. Christine Beard, served as a guest artist at the 16th ABRAF International Flute Festival in Sāo Paulo, Brazil from Oct. 31-Nov. 3, 2019 where she taught a flute masterclass, performed a solo piccolo recital of music by North American composers, and performed 2 concerts as a member of the SuperFlutes International Collective (an ensemble comprised of 9 professional flutists from countries around the world).
