Members of the UNO Piano Studio gave a beautiful performance at Gallery 1516 on September 8th. The performance showcased the students’ hard work of repertoire learned over the summer, focusing on sonatas, preludes, and fugues by Beethoven, Haydn, Scarlatti, and Ravel, and J.S. Bach.

This concert also provides a running start into the semester’s community recitals and masterclasses in which students from the UNO Piano Studio will perform.  Gallery 1516’s collaboration with the School of Music gives the students the opportunity to perform in a different environment while also giving back to the community.  The audience was most enthusiastic over the exciting and varied program  Those who performed are part of the piano studios of Dr. Kristín Jónína Taylor and Dr. Washington Garcia.
