On June 1, 2019, the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM) Accreditation Commission voted to grant renewal of membership to the UNO School of Music.

Institutions making application for renewal of Membership follow several procedures outlined by the Association, including preparing a Self-Study Report and arranging for an on-site evaluation.

NASM commended UNO School of Music for its commitment to providing excellent facilities for music instruction and performance.  This  brings to a close the comprehensive evaluation process that began in 2017. NASM appreciated the institution’s extraordinary efforts clearly evident during the entire process.
