In July, four School of Music students participated in the World Youth Wind Orchestra Project (WYWOP) in Schladming, Austria. Bree Houston, horn; Lance Mattice, bass clarinet; Jake Senff, baritone saxophone; and Troy Stephens, horn, were selected by audition to participate in this festival, which was founded in 1997. Over the course of a week, musicians aged 16-30 from around the world worked with internationally renowned soloists, conductors, and composers.
