The UNO Jazz Combo toured Nebraska and South Dakota March 31-April 2. Along with UNO Coordinator of Jazz Studies, Pete Madsen, the students took on a teaching role by assisting with educational clinics as well as performing for high school and middle school students. Dr. Madsen and the UNO Jazz Combo presented educational clinics for  Fremont High School in Nebraska and Lead-Deadwood, Sturgis, and Spearfish, South Dakota. The group was also the featured ensemble for a jazz festival hosted by the Historic Homestake Opera House in Lead, South Dakota.
