On January 8, UNO hosted the Heartland Middle School Honor Choir.  The Middle School Honor Choir had 104 students from 28  different schools participate.  The guest conductor for the Honor Choir was Frank A. Watkins, a professor of music at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.  After a day of rehearsing, the middle school singers performed a variety of pieces, including W.A. Mozart, Andrea Ramsey, and Rollo Dilworth.  Students from UNO’s Chamber Choir, who volunteered to come and sing during their Winter Break, also performed under the direction of Professor Shannon Gravelle.  UNO students helped throughout the day with the Honor Choir.  It was a wonderful day of music-making and collaboration!
