Dave Schaefer, a graduate of the MM Conducting (choral) degree at UNO, earned the Garland ISD Education Foundation Grant. This grant offers teachers the opportunity to apply for money that can be utilized in their classrooms or departments.  Schaefer was awarded the grant to purchase a new piano for the South Garland High School Choral program in Garland, Texas. We are proud to see Dave thrive in his new job as he continues to build a choral music program that supports the needs of his diverse school community.
