UNO Oboe Instructor Darci Griffith Gamerl recently visited the University of Arkansas School of Music. She gave a masterclass, and recital comprised of solo works and her original compositions written for her healing music duo, Ultima Thule.

Ultima Thule pairs oboe & English horn with cello, crystal singing bowls, looping station effects and other world instruments. Co-founder and cellist, David Downing complements their unique musical pairing with solo looping station compositions.

The duo is slated to perform at the International Double Reed Society Conference in Iowa City, and for Omaha Under the Radar later this summer.
