The UNO School of Music hosted the 2019 Oboe Day featuring guest artist Dr. Theresa Delaplain from the University of Arkansas. The event was organized by UNO Instructor of Oboe Darci Gamerl and took place on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at the Strauss Performing Arts Center.

The day was filled with masterclasses, reed making and a joint recital given by Ms. Gamerl and Dr. Delaplain. The participants included students of all ages and stages of career development from beginners to advanced post-graduates.
