Instructor of Oboe Darci Gamerl has been appointed acting principal oboe with the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra for the 2019/20 season.

Ms. Gamerl is slated as a featured guest artist at the University of Iowa in early October. During her visit, she will be giving a masterclass for the oboe studio.

Professor Gamerl is alsoslated to perform at Gallery 1516 on September 15th at 11:30 AM. Ms. Gamerl’s duo, Ultima Thule will be featured as will her compositions for the chamber ensemble.
