UNO School of Music Hosts 2nd Annual Woodwind Day

On Monday, November 5, the UNO School of Music welcomed 51 students from around the state for the second annual Woodwind Day.   Throughout the day, students played in a woodwind choir under the direction of Karen Fannin and Christine Beard and participated in masterclasses and small ensembles led by woodwind faculty members Christine Beard, Darci Gamerl, Emily McIvor, and Patrick Brown.  The day also included a recital featuring UNO School of Music woodwind faculty and culminated in a final concert featuring the woodwind choir and small ensembles.
