Kristin Parent, a student in the Master of Music in Music Education program, was honored as one of two recipients of the Jack R. Snider Young Band Director Award given by the Nebraska State Bandmasters Association at their annual convention on Friday, March 2.  Nominees for this award must be in their third through seventh year of teaching.  Parent teaches elementary and middle school band for Music in Catholic Schools in Omaha.
