Students from the string and keyboard areas wowed the audience at Gallery 1516 on February 4, 2018, as part of the UNO Student Recital Series.
The series is designed to enhance community engagement by bringing high quality performances by some of the most talented young artists in the area. This partnership also provides an opportunity to create a stronger bridge between music and other kinds of arts.
The performers included:
Emilio Piña, guitar
Kyle Case, cello
Yedid Maya, violin
Jordyn Irlmeier, violin
Timmy Saqueton, guitar
Alex Ariola, electric guitar
Lingyi Guo, piano
Dr. Mary Perkinson, coordinator of the string area and assistant professor of violin, organized the event.
