On Wednesday, October 25, the UNO Symphonic Wind Ensemble performed for faculty and students at Millard North High School, Lewis Central High School, and Fort Calhoun Junior and Senior High Schools. The UNO students performed three concerts and also sat in with students in rehearsals . Dr. Christine Erlander Beard, UNO flute professor, and sophomore music performance student Jordan McDugle, were featured soloists on Gary Schocker’s Three Dances for Two Flutes. The Symphonic Wind Ensemble is conducted by Dr. Karen Fannin, Director of Bands and Associate Professor of Music.
