Dr. Joshua Kearney, UNO’s Director of Athletic Bands, was the featured High School Clinician for the annual Western Iowa Conference (WIC) Honor Band Festival on March 20. Dr. Kearney traveled to Manning, IA where he worked with students from ten schools from across the region. Students attended rehearsals and presented an evening concert comprised of traditional folk song arrangements and music from contemporary American composers.

In addition to his most recent performance with the WIC Honor Band, Dr. Kearney has led clinics at schools across the region. Recent engagements have taken him to Cozad High School, Skutt Catholic High School, Papillion La-Vista High School, and Bellevue East High School.
