Patrick Brown, Instructor of Saxophone at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, recently became a D’Addario Performing Artist. Brown received his B.M. in Saxophone Performance and a certification in Jazz Studies from Appalachian State University.
After completion of his undergraduate degree, Patrick obtained a M.M. in Multiple Woodwind Performance (Flute, Clarinet, and Saxophone) from Winthrop University. Before coming to the University of Nebraska at Omaha, Patrick served as instructor of saxophone and/or jazz studies at Davidson College, Wingate University, Lenoir-Rhyne University, Union College, and Mitchell Community College.
Some of his performance highlights include sharing the stage with Aretha Franklin, Glenn Miller Orchestra, Nelson Riddle Orchestra, The Four Tops, North Carolina Symphony, and Omaha Symphony, among others.
