UNO School of Music welcomed freshmen students as full members into the Maverick Marching Band. Tonight marked the first time they sang the fight song, the alma mater, and Troop (a stylized marching routine) with the veteran members of the band.

Students attended orientation sessions each night for 2 hours at minimum and spent hours memorizing new music and routines. They were in intensive musical training each day between 8-12 hours and they went above and beyond to become better musicians these past 7-14 days. We are proud of our students and welcome them into our family.
