Mary Perkinson and Shelby VanNordstrand traveled to Indonesia in May to give recitals and master classes. They were joined in performance by colleagues from the University of Central Florida and Universitas Pelita Harapan. They gave master classes at Universitas Pelita Harapan in Jakarta, Indonesia, and at Sekolah Menengah Musik in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, in addition to three performances at different venues in Yogyakarta and Jakarta.  The performances included Indonesian premieres of six new compositions written by Universitas Pelita Harapan faculty Johannes Nugroho and Antonius Priyanto. The funding for this collaboration was made possible through a FRI (Faculty Research International) Grant from the UNO University Committee on Research and Creative Activity.
