On Saturday, March 5, the Symphonic Wind Ensemble traveled to Lincoln, NE to perform at the Nebraska State Bandmasters Association Conference (NSBA).  SWE was selected by competitive, taped audition to perform at the 2016 conference, held each year at the Kimball Recital Hall on the campus of University of
Nebraska-Lincoln.  The conductor of the Symphonic Wind Ensemble is Dr. Karen Fannin, Director of Bands.  Guest conductor on the program was Dr. Joshua Kearney, Director of Athletic Bands, and soloist on the program was UNO Professor Shelby VanNordstrand, soprano.
