On February 24, 2016, the UNO Choirs presented a program entitled “On this Earth…”. The program outlined the seasons of a person’s life and things that affect those seasons.  Each choir, University Chorus, Concert Choir, and Chamber Choir, sang an individual set as well as two works with the all of the choirs.  Their final number, a movement from the Sunrise Mass by Ola Gjeilo entitled “The Ground,” featured a string quartet.  The singers were joined by instrumentalists throughout the concert.  One concert goer said afterwards,” This was the first concert I have attended at UNO.  I am so glad I came.  It was beautiful.”  

The School of Music invites you to join the choirs in their final performance of the season on April 21, 2016 at 7:30 PM in the Strauss Performing Arts Center.  The feature piece will be Mozart’s Vesperae solennes de Confessore.
