Mr. Nick Squire (class of ’06) received a Grammy Award for his work as engineer on the Boston Symphony Orchestra’s Shostakovich: Under Stalin’s Shadow – Symphony No. 10, in the category for “Best Orchestra Performance”. Nick currently serves as the Lead Recording Engineer at the Boston Symphony, as well as working extensively with the Boston Pops, the Boston Symphony Chamber Players, and artists and fellows at the Tanglewood Music Center. Nick earned his bachelor of music in percussion performance at the University of Nebraska at Omaha under the baton of Dr. Tomm Roland and his master of music in sound recording at McGill University. While this is Nick’s first Grammy nod, we’re sure it won’t be the last!
