On Thursday, February 11, Dr. Karen Fannin traveled to Texas to present a session to the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) entitled “The Art of Pacing: In Preparation, Rehearsal, and Performance.” Fannin presented at the California All-State Music Educators Conference (CASMEC) on Friday, February 12. Collaborating with the South Pointe Wind Ensemble from the Los Angeles Area, she presented a session entitled “Creating Committed Musicians: Empowering Students of All Levels Through Artistic Rehearsals.”
