UNO’s professor of flute, Dr. Christine Beard has been invited to serve as the guest artist for Kansas State University’s “Flumpet Day” (flute + trumpet) on Saturday, February 11, 2023. During the day’s activities, Beard will teach a flute masterclass, lead a flute clinic, and perform a mini recital featuring music by Herman Beeftink, Linthicum-Blackhorse, and Leanna Keith.
