Freshman BA Music Studies major, Joshua Miller, has already been recognized with several notable piano honors during his first academic year in the UNO School of Music.

In February 2022, Joshua was declared the Second Prize winner in the Ages 17-19 Piano Division of the Winter Music Competition of the Charleston International Music Competition.  In December 2021, he was declared Winner of the F Level (most advanced level) in the Council Bluffs District Auditions for the Iowa Music Teachers Association (IMTA).  This resulted in a subsequent rating of “I” at the IMTA State Auditions in March 2022.  In October 2021, Josh was awarded Alternate Winner for the Nebraska Music Teachers Association Collegiate Competition.

Joshua is a member of the piano studio of Dr. Kristín Jónína Taylor.
