UNO BM Music Education major Hannah Fisher is the recipient of the Undergraduate Award from the Chancellor’s Commission on the Status of Gender Equity for 2021. Her work in advocating for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the music classroom was recognized as outstanding by the commission. As a result, she was given a $500 award for her efforts.

Hannah is a piano student of Dr. Kristín Jónína Taylor.
