Simon Olivares receives third prize at the 2021 Classical Music Competition as part of the Charleston International Music Competition

UNO MM Piano Performance Major Simon Olivares has been awarded third prize at the 2021 Charleston International Music Competition – Classical Music Competition.

Based in Charleston, South Carolina, the Charleston International Music Competition strives to discover talented musicians of all ages and nationalities and reward their efforts with prizes and recognition.

Simon Olivares is a student of Dr. Kristín Jónína Taylor.
