UNO piano students Seulji Kim and Bryn Groenjes were named finalists in the 2020 Romantic Music Competition, sponsored by the Charleston International Music Competition.  Both of their performances will be featured on the Charleston International Music Competition’s YouTube channel.

The 2020 Romantic Music Competition is open to singers, instrumentalists, and ensembles of all ages and nationalities. All musical instruments, including piano, string instruments, wind instruments, and percussion, and music pieces or movements from composers born in the period 1790 – 1920 were accepted.

Both Seulji and Bryn are students in the piano studio of Dr. Kristín Jónína Taylor.
