UNO pianist, Yimeng Xu, performed with the Omaha Symphony on the annual Christmas at the Cathedral concert. As the keyboard artist, one of the orchestral pieces Yimeng performed was the premiere of American composer, Jackson Berkey’s “Good Christian Men Rejoice”. The concert will be aired on KVNO December 25th at 12pm.
Yimeng Xu is a pianist for the University of Nebraska Concert Band. She has performed with the UNO Concert Choir, as well as numerous instrumentalists and vocalists. Yimeng is the pianist for the UNO Piano Trio. Yimeng studies piano with Dr. Washington Garcia and Collaborative Piano with Stacie Haneline.
