The UNO Jazz Combo I under the direction of Dr. Darren Pettit recently performed at the Saulkrasti International Jazz Festival in Latvia. The festival included professional jazz ensembles from Latvia, Italy, Lithuania, Israel, and America. In addition to four performances in Latvia, the UNO Jazz Combo also performed twice in Lithuania. Drs. Darren Pettit and Pete Madsen also taught for a week at the Saulkrasti Jazz Workshop that is held in conjunction with the festival.
