Each year the Nebraska Chapter of the American String Teachers Association (ASTA) hosts a Young Orchestra Festival for school orchestras in grades 6-9. Dr. Matthew Brooks, Director of Orchestras, has been invited to serve as guest clinician for this year’s festival in May 2019.

In addition to this opportunity to work with student orchestras from around the state, Dr. Brooks is also scheduled to lead clinics at local schools as part of the “Partners in Performance” program with UNO’s Heartland Philharmonic Orchestra.
