UNO Professor of Flute, Dr. Christine Beard, made her 16th appearance on the program of the National Flute Association Convention. The 47th NFA, held in Orlando, Florida from August 9-12, featured Beard in multiple concerts, including a piccolo solo on the “Latin American Gems” concert, a piccolo duo with Dr. Keith Hanlon on the “Piccolo Party” concert, and performing for the pre-gala concert as a member of both the International SuperFlutes Collective and the International Liaison Ensemble.
