Each summer, music educators around the country attend professional development conventions sponsored by their state chapters of the American Choral Directors Association or National Association for Music Education. This summer, Dr. Derrick Fox, Director of Choral Activities, led sessions concerning diversity, work/life balance, rehearsal techniques, changing voice and repertoire selection for educators in Nebraska, Kansas, Kentucky and New York. In addition to leading workshops, Dr. Fox will also conduct the New York ACDA All State Middle School/Junior High Mixed choir in early August.
