Dr. Mary Perkinson published An Interview with Dr. Marvin J. Rabin  in American String Teacher Volume 68 Issue 2, May 2018.  The article relays a personal interview Dr. Perkinson had with the renowned string pedagogue in 2008 and gives readers a personal snap shot of Dr. Rabin’s extensive contributions to the string world and his thoughts about pedagogy.  Dr. Rabin was known as one of the greatest advocates of youth orchestras the world has ever known.  Dr. Rabin passed away at the age of 97 in 2013.
