Lauren Milbourn and Brian Nelsen, senior music education majors, were among five students who were selected to participate in the Undergraduate Music Education Track of the University of Colorado Conducting Symposium in Boulder, CO.  To be selected, students were required to send in an audition video of their conducting and a resume.  Lauren and Brian will spend a week at the symposium in June working on conducting technique and movement, rehearsal strategies, professional development, artistic growth, score study, and repertoire.  Both students study conducting with Dr. Karen Fannin.
