On April 4, 2017, members of UNO’s Chamber Orchestra, led by Professor Barry Ford and Dr. Mary Perkinson, visited Norfolk and Freemont High Schools. During the visit, the orchestra performed works by Britten and Bach, and the undergraduate string quartet performed a movement from Haydn’s “Bird” quartet. UNO students and faculty also engaged in a Q & A for high school students.  The tour was a great success and we look forward to returning soon!
