Artist faculty and member of faculty trio, I the Siren, Darci Gamerl has garnered recognition for the accomplishments of her students. Three of her students were awarded chairs in All-State ensembles. Elisa Dorsey (Senior – Fremont) and Bryn Groenjes (Junior – Elkhorn High School) were awarded chairs in the All-State band. This year marks the first year that freshman were eligible to audition. Leah Swaney (Freshman – Bellevue West) not only succeeded in making All-State, but was awarded a chair in the top ensemble, All-State Orchestra.
