On March 19, 2016, Dr. Mary Perkinson presented a lecture recital entitled “Practical Exercises for 5 Standard Violin Excerpts,” at Pacific University (Forest Grove, Oregon) for college professors from across the country.  Dr. Perkinson is looking forward to implement in Omaha some of the information that she brought back from the conference to further develop guest residencies, Artist Wellness Day, and Sound Health Seminar – a seminar that focuses on student musician involvement in health care settings.
