Music education major, Luke Annis, was recently selected to represent UNO at the Collegiate Showcase Recital that will be held from November 19-21, 2015 in conjunction with the Nebraska Music Educators Association’s annual conference in Lincoln. Annis, a student of Dr. Pete Madsen and Dr. Jay Wise, will be performing two movements from Sonatina for Trombone and Piano by Serocki.

“He will be a wonderful representative for our university,” said Lauren Milbourne, UNONAfME Collegiate Chapter President. Luke is a member of the UNO Symphonic Wind Ensemble, the Heartland Philharmonic, and plays in both Jazz I, and a jazz combo.
