A folk music and dance ensemble from Lithuania’s Siauliai University performed at the University of Nebraska at Omaha on September 19.
The visit was in celebration of UNO’s sister university relationship with Siauliai University and other ongoing collaborations with the Omaha Sister Cities Association. Two years ago, UNO music students and faculty traveled to Lithuania to perform.

The ensemble’s visit also included a discussion led by UNO’s International Studies Department the prior Thursday and a joint performance with the UNO Jazz Ensembles Friday.
