Sophomore flute and music education major Grace Dixon has been selected to serve as a Social Media Intern at the 2026 MidAtlantic Flute Convention hosted by the Flute Society of Washington. Celebrating its 40th convention, the FSW hires flute students from across the USA to serve in competitive internships for a variety of positions ranging from social media and registration support to technical assistance and accessibility coordination.

Held in Herndon, VA (just outside of Washington, D.C.), FSW MidAtlantic convention interns receive a waived convention registration fee, hotel accommodations for two nights, a one-year FSW membership, and valuable professional development experience at one of the country’s largest and most comprehensive flute festivals.
