Piano students from the UNO Keyboard Area competed in the Nebraska state division of the Music Teachers National Association competition on Saturday, October 18th.  

Bennett Lambelet (freshman, BM Piano Performance) received Honorable Mention recognition in the Senior Division.  He performed Mozart, Debussy, Chopin, and his own composition.

Harmon Moss (sophomore, BM Music Education) received Honorable Mention recognition in the Young Artist Division.  He performed music by J.S. Bach, Rachmaninoff, and Florence Price.

Both students study with Dr. Kristín Jónína Taylor, Associate Professor of Piano at UNO.
