Katelyn Kukoly earned her Bachelor of Music Education and Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance in 2016 while studying with William Wolcott and Dr. Mary Perkinson. She has previously taught at the Omaha Conservatory of Music with the String Sprouts program, and at SNJ Studio in Millard and Elkhorn. Past performances include those with the Heartland Philharmonic Orchestra, UNO Chamber Orchestra, pit orchestras throughout Omaha, and Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

After moving to Seattle, she taught at Meter Music School and 4/4 School of Music. Currently she teaches violin, viola, and piano lessons at her private studio. In her free time, she plays bass, keys, and sings in the band Funhouse that released an album in 2024. She lives with her two cats, Dumpling and Bronco, and aspires to play louder than her guitarist husband does on a daily basis. Kudos and congrats to Katelyn on all of her musical contributions in the midwest and west coast!
