Jamie Luedtke Alumni Spotlight

Jamie Luedtke (BM Music Education, Vocal Concentration, 2018) teaches vocal and general music at Minne Lusa, Ponca, and Franklin Elementary Schools. She is also a core member of Résonance ensemble, Omaha’s premier vocal ensemble. Performance highlights include alto soloist in their festival choir performances of Beethoven’s Mass, the Bernstein Mass, and the Hagenberg Mass. Most recently, she served as an ensemble member for the Physicians Mutual Omaha Symphony Christmas Celebration where she was also a featured soloist. She also performed in the chorus for the Omaha Symphony’s Home Alone film concert. She will join the symphony again for The Power of Film and Music with Alexander Payne,  and The Planets.

Jamie also enjoys performing in musicals throughout the metro. She recently performed as Maleficent in Elkhorn Community Theatre’s production of Disney’s Descendants. She was nominated for Omaha Entertainment and Arts Awards, Best Supporting Actress award for that role. She also serves as worship team leader at Bethany Lutheran Church.

In addition to concertizing and teaching, Jamie is pursing a Master of Science in Education – Leadership in Learning Design and Technology at UNK and will graduate in December 2025.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family.
