Collegiate NAfME members Morgan Thompson and Sophie Larson and their chapter advisor, Dr. Kati Cox, met with Nebraska State Senators as part of Nebraska Music Education Association’s Hill Day on March 25, 2024.

Collegiate NAfME members Morgan Thompson and Sophie Larson and their chapter advisor, Dr. Kati Cox, met with Nebraska State Senators as part of Nebraska Music Education Association’s Hill Day on March 25, 2024.  They thanked legislatures for the unanimous vote that passed the Mental Health Practice Act (LB605) and asked for continued support in addressing teacher shortages (LB519) and student teaching costs (LB953).

Members plan to attend National Hill Day in Washington DC in June.
