Freshman UNO flute performance student, Jay Fox, was honored to be a participant at “Flauti al Castello” in Perugia, Italy in August 2023. This nine-day intensive flute seminar was held by flutists Sergio Pallottelli, the flute professor at the Conservatorio Vivaldi (Italy), and Paul Edmund-Davies, former principal flute of the London Symphony Orchestra.

Jay learned more about the physical instrument itself, enjoyed in-depth conversations regarding music careers and how to stay creative, and connected with international flute students from over six different countries.
