Flutist Paige Michaud has been added to the roster of substitute flutes for the Omaha Symphony after winning her audition for the spot on September 21st. A graduate of UNO in 2023 with a Bachelor’s degree in flute performance, Paige studied with Dr. Christine Beard and has also had supplemental lessons with Maria Harding.

A recent guest artist at the World Flutes Festival in Argentina (2022), Paige previously won the UNO Concerto Competition in 2023, the Lincoln Symphony Concerto Competition in 2022, and the Nebraska Wind Symphony Concerto/Scholarship Competition in 2022.
