Join us for a recital of works from the newly released album “Storms & Stars, songs for soprano and piano by Jodi Goble”. Shelby VanNordstrand, soprano, and Jodi Goble, piano, will perform selections from Goble’s song cycles “Valentines from Amherst”(poetry by Emily Dickinson), Song-Lost World (poetry by Yone Noguchi) and “Sea Creatures”(poetry by Katherine Mansfield, Anne Hunter, Helen Birch Bartlett, Carl Sandburg, Winifred Bryher, Walt Whitman, and Edna St. Vincent Millay).

Goble and VanNordstrand’s digital album containing these selections and more was released to streaming platforms on August 25, 2023.
